The basement is brand new, made of quality stud and drywall construction with acoustic ceiling and recessed lighting.
The carpet is
very plush stylish frieze. All are very neutral inviting colors. You will love this space, there is lots of room.
The basement has tons of storage! A large closet (center) has built in wire shelve system. Closet on right keeps furnace room separate and tucked away. Far right door leads to the storage and laundry room, as well as a walk out basement with new vinyl sliding glass door.
The stairs to the basement have been enclosed and carpeted. The walls are finished nicely with molding detail and a beautiful light fixture.
Just so you can picture what we have done to fix it up...really, it was scary before! We didn't even like to come down there, and definitely didn't like the kids to play on or around those dangerous stairs! There were only two little spindly light bulbs for the entire basement. Now with a total makeover, it is so light and comfortable that we spend lots of time here!
